Our teams have over 30 years experience in the road marking industry, working alongside local authorities and the commercial sector. Our line marking engineers will cater to your needs.
Our teams take great care and have immense pride in their work, with 30 years plus experience. From small car parks to multi story, line markings new and recovery or line marking on new tarmac/block paving and concrete surfaces.
Preparation is key when it comes to long lasting line markings and here at Newns Markings we use industry standard burning off or Scabbling as well the environmentally safer options such as captive shot blasting and all types of Jet blasting. If you require thermoplastics, anti skid, painted products such as epoxy systems, solvent based acrylics or the strongest product we use MMA, we offer it all.
Newns Markings is a Bedfordshire based line marking company, specialising in the design and installation of high-quality road markings throughout the UK, using some of the industries' hardest-wearing road marking applications, designed to suit all levels of traffic and road surfaces.
Our customers come from both the public and private sector, and our teams of road marking operatives are experienced in working alongside existing surfacing contractors or working independently.

At Newns Markings, we have over 30 years of experience in designing and installing hardwearing, vibrant car park line markings to car parks of all types and sizes, including small office car parks with three or four spaces, multistorey car parks, supermarket car parks, or arena-sized car parks.
Whatever sized car park you have, or whatever the design of the layout, your car park line marking project with Newns Markings will usually be carried out in three simple steps, which include:
Free site survey: This is so one of our operatives can visit your site, measure up, assess the type and the condition of the substrate, and discuss your exact requirements.
Design: Using the information gathered from the free site survey, we’ll work out the perfect design for the layout of your car park markings, taking into consideration the space available, and how to safely and effectively maximise it.
Installation: The installation of your new car park line marking layout will be carried out at a time to suit you, and will include the initial clearing of the area and preparation of the surface, through to the installation itself, which will be completed to the highest standard, and in the quickest time possible.
To ensure your car park line markings are installed to the standard you expect, and in line with current regulations regarding safety, all car park line marking operatives at Newns Markings:
Hold CSCS ( Construction Skills Certification Scheme) cards to ensure that during your car park line marking project, safe and proper working practices are followed at all times.
Are DBS ( Disclosure and Barring Service) checked, so that you have complete confidence whilst our team is working on your premises.
Whether they’re for a warehouse, industrial building or controlled parking zone, loading bays provide a vital function as a safe and efficient way of allowing operatives to load or unload items from goods vehicles, safely and effectively.
At Newns Markings, we’ll design and install your loading bay using hardwearing, brightly coloured, high-quality line marking applications. These include:
Thermoplastic – One of the most common line marking applications, thermoplastic has a variety of benefits, including:
It has the ability to be preformed, to help you save money and time on the installation
It has the addition of small glass beads, to give it a reflective quality.
It comes in a variety of colours.
It has a quick installation and setting time.
Single Pack Epoxy: Another commonly used loading bay line marking application, single pack epoxy has a rubber-like, non-slip consistency, meaning it can be applied to a variety of surfaces, even if the surface is uneven.
MMA: MMA or Methyl Methacrylate is a cold applied, fast drying application, that is proven to last up to 10 years, depending on traffic levels and the quality of the preparation and installation.
Matt and his team provide an excellent service always acting professionally and courteously at all times.
